I sort of liked a snow day now and then - not anymore!

You know, I live in a 1948 built home and I think what I've done is created a 'Happy Mix' - I love the vintage and retro but also have new things. It makes going to the flea market or antique store lots of fun (great flea last week here) but also makes a trip to Pottery Barn a good time. Like you, there's no way a new house is gonna happen for me. I think I've found the best of all worlds. I have friends in incredible new homes. Can't afford it, here. So, I go for the blend! Don't worry, you'll get the vibe back. Another idea - find a new thing to collect and be on the look out for. My new thing might be vintage thermoses (thermi? thermosee?)Shiny Brite Collectorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04984519383250440615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7157754340221650294.post-76774265237990394962011-01-13T08:17:40.538-06:002011-01-13T08:17:40.538-06:00I've gone through many a design phase when I w...I've gone through many a design phase when I was younger. Luckily I was always too poor to invest much in any of them, so when I moved on to something new, it was OK to pack, give or throw the rest away.

Now, this house is built in the 50's and nothing else would look good in here. It's a classic Ranch through and through, so that takes away any other choices.

I'd wait and see... This may be a phase for you too. Don't toss anything out yet, or give us a chance to have it ha ha ha. You know WE'D love your MCM stuff. maybe that will give you incentive to keep it: keep it out of our greedy hands muahahahahaaaa.......1950s Atomic Ranch Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02460669868967006928noreply@blogger.com
