To finish up the lampshade week, I thought I'd post the option of also buying a vintage shade. I found some great ones to share, the colors are amazing! Enjoy, and have a great Saturday!
It's a toss-up as to whether to go with true vintage or "new vintage". Buying a vintage shade makes the lamp more authentic but buying new from the manufacturer makes me feel a little more comfortable considering the difficulties of packing and shipping a fiberglass shade, plus the fiberglass itself is going to be stronger and perhaps a bit more supple than 40 year old fiberglass. One of these shades is nearly exactly like the one I have now, though. Oh, what to do, what to do?!!! You've been an invaluable help, Michael. Thanks again!
