Granny's Country Music...

I happened across a video for Rosanne Cash's Tennessee Flat Top Box from 1987 while browsing YouTube last night, and the memories it brought back were wonderful.  This was one of my Granny's (yes we called her Granny, what else do you call the classic gray-haired country farm wife?) favorite songs.  So I though I'd share it today, along with one other favorite of hers, Mercury Blues by Alan Jackson.

Thanks for humoring me through my trip down memory lane!

  1. Your granny had great taste, that's my favorite covers of what is one of my favorite songs ever.

  2. My old man loved Rosanne Cash. He also listened to Kenny and Willie until MY ears bled. Hearing those old country songs brings back memories. I hated the stuff when I was a kid, but now Classic country is the only type of country I can listen to. Go figure..
