In Memory of Dixie Carter

I just saw an article on Yahoo News that Dixie Carter, who played Julia Sugarbaker on Designing Women passed away Saturday morning.  Here's a more complete news article on her death.  Here's a little clip from Designing Women showing Julia (Dixie) at her best.

    I know, I just read about her passing and I was soooo sad. Although all four women (AND Anthony AND the husbands/boyfriends) were incredible, Julia was always my favorite because she was so darn STRONG and FEARLESS. And so Southern at the same time! God bless her family.

    Michael, thanks for these videos. (You always have the BEST videos.) I'm saddened by the passing of Ms. Carter. I also realize I miss the days when women dressed up the way the Designing Women did. The Steel Magnolias look -- feminine yet powerful. Rest in peace, Dixie.
