Give Me A Head With Hair...

So, I was going through the September 1970 issue of TV Radio Talk to try to figure out how to share the lengthy story of Andy and Claudine as Christine requested (I'm still working on it Christine - it's a really long story!), when I came across this ad for women's wigs and I just had to share it with you all today.  It will enlarge quite a bit if you click on it.  There's a lot of hair to look at here!

  2. This post caught my eye because I have an old yearbook from my alma mater in which Spider Sabich was a senior in high school - seeing it made me think of the whole story about his death and Claudine Longet.

  3. Back in the late 60s/early 70s, wigs were fashion accessories just like earrings or scarves. My mom had a couple of wigs, and she might wear a blonde wig to work on Monday, her regular brown hair on Tuesday, and a salt-and-pepper wig on Wednesday! Her friends did the same thing. I was junior high age at the time, and I thought it was weird how they'd switch their hair colors like that, as if no one noticed. I was glad wigs weren't popular for kids, because I thought they looked itchy.
